Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Suppression Service Technician to inspect, test, service, and maintain fire suppression systems and portable extinguishers across commercial and industrial facilities. This is a field-based role offering hands-on work, mentorship, and opportunities to grow within a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in fire suppression system service.
• High school diploma or GED; technical or industry related experience preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and recharge kitchen and industrial fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers.
• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Make sure all work meets applicable NFPA and local code requirements.
• Accurately document work performed and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Repère Encore professionally on every job site and provide a clear, customer focused experience.
• Work independently in the field and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
