Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Suppression Service Technician to inspect, test, and maintain fire suppression systems and extinguishers across commercial and industrial sites. You will work in a field-based role with hands-on tasks, receive training, mentorship, and growth opportunities within a safety-conscious team.

The role emphasizes meeting NFPA/local codes, documenting findings, and delivering professional customer service while traveling within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in fire suppression system service.
• High school diploma or GED required, with technical or industry related experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on technical interest.
• Comfort using hand tools and basic equipment.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders or in tight spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and recharge kitchen and industrial fire suppression systems and portable extinguishers.
• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ensure all work meets NFPA and local code requirements.
• Accurately document work performed and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Represent Encore professionally on job sites and provide a customer-focused experience.
• Work independently in the field and as part of a team to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
