Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Suppression Service Technician to inspect, test, service, and maintain fire suppression systems and extinguishers. This field-based role offers training, mentorship, and growth in a company dedicated to safety and life protection.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a mechanical inclination. You will lift 50+ pounds, travel within your territory, and document findings for customers and teams while upholding

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in fire suppression system service.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or industry experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with interest in hands-on technical work in life safety or construction.
• Comfort using hand tools and basic equipment; learn more on the job.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and recharge kitchen and industrial fire suppression systems and portable extinguishers.
• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ensure all work meets NFPA and local code requirements.
• Document work performed and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Represent Encore professionally on every job site and provide a customer-focused experience.
• Work independently in the field and as part of a team to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
