Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Texas seeks a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems and related detection/control equipment with minimal supervision. You will use power tools and test equipment, troubleshoot components, document work orders, and maintain safety policies while traveling up to 90% of the time to customer sites.

Must have a high school diploma, relevant certifications preferred, and at least two years

Qualifications

• 2 years of Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems and detection/control components.
• Troubleshoot defective components of suppression systems.
• Follow safety programs, complete work orders, and document activities.
• Communicate with customers professionally and maintain punctuality.
