Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States (Oregon, Boardman) seeks an experienced Critical Infrastructure Field Engineer to provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers.

You will lead design reviews, troubleshoot incidents, mentor customer engineers, and own upgrades to improve capacity, availability, and efficiency. You'll collaborate with Operations, Design, and Safety teams across projects, travel to sites, and drive audits, turnover, and training, while balancing field work with

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities (data centers, power facilities, etc.).
• Valid and active driver209s license required.
• Bachelor29s degree in fire protection engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review design and equipment submittals for new data centers in your region.
• Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create corrective action documentation.
• Support operational issues with ad-hoc training and SOP reviews, including critical equipment.
