Job summary

Johnson Controls in Delaware seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead fire protection, security, and life-safety installation projects in commercial and educational facilities. You will manage design, permits, materials, schedules, and field work, while maintaining client relationships and driving margins.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related PM experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel up to 30%. NICET Level II is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field.
• Five years of fire protection, construction, alarm/detection, or related PM experience.
• Ability to read complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical docs.
• Strong organizational and deadline management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage fire protection, security, and sprinkler installation projects from inception to completion.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and control budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with design teams, AHJ requirements, and client stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice, resolve issues, and drive margin improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales to support client relationships and requirements.
