Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a route-based Construction Coordinator to be the eyes and ears on the ground for our clients" fiber networks, running an assigned route and addressing issues before they escalate. If you enjoy outdoors, long daily windshield time, and solving problems in the field, this is built for you.

As an outside plant expert, you will stay alert to surroundings, review tickets, maps, and prints, and help mitigate risks while maintaining professional communication

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and access to own vehicle with insurance.
• Ability to drive routes daily and for long hours in varying weather.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Comfort working independently in field conditions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of fiber engineering fundamentals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan route.
• Drive assigned fiber route with significant windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for risk.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead of digging and construction.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and mitigate potential failures.
• Log changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route.
• Report to the field to verify quality and adherence of work.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
