Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking an outside plant expert to join as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You will be the eyes on the ground for our clients' fiber networks, monitoring tickets, planning daily routes, and responding to outages.

This role requires extensive driving, field presence, and clear communication with colleagues, customers, and homeowners. Ideal candidates will have a valid license, reliable vehicle, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and solid

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with adequate insurance.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clear communication with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Comfort with long drives and route-based field work.
• Basic knowledge of fiber engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan route.
• Drive assigned fiber route with significant windshield time.
• Monitor existing fiber routes and identify risks to the line.
• Reference 811 locate tickets and maps to anticipate digging activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and respond to outages.
• Log changes in infrastructure and verify work quality on site.
• Communicate clearly with team and clients to coordinate actions.
