Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) seeks an outside plant route-based Construction Coordinator to serve as the eyes and ears on the ground for fiber networks. You will manage an assigned route, monitor for issues, and prevent problems from escalating while enjoying outdoor work and driving.

Ideal candidates drive daily routes, review tickets and maps, and communicate with customers and crews. PRG offers a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable personal vehicle.
• Auto insurance meeting state requirements (bodily injury and property damage). Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate.
• Dependability: punctuality and reliability to complete assignments.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; physical readiness to walk, sit, stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid computer proficiency for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan your route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route on a recurring basis with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for potential risks to the line.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead of digging activity.
• Provide first-level issue mitigation and flag potential failure points.
• Log and elevate changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route.
• Report to field supervisors to verify work quality and adherence to SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
