Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking an Outside Plant Construction Coordinator to oversee field operations on a fiber route, monitoring 811 tickets, and ensuring proactive maintenance. The role emphasizes outdoor work, driving, and problem solving in real-world conditions.

The candidate will drive a fixed route daily, review tickets and maps, and coordinate with clients and contractors to prevent outages. Compensation is hourly with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Auto insurance meeting state requirements with 100/300/100 bodily injury and property damage.
• Mileage reimbursed for work-related driving.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned fiber route daily with significant windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes, pre-empt issues.
• Reference 811 locate tickets with maps/prints to avoid digging conflicts.
• Provide first-level issue response and mitigate potential failures.
• Log changes in infrastructure along the route and report as needed.
• Verify quality and adherence to the SOW in the field.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.
