Job summary

Project Resources Group is seeking a route-based Construction Coordinator to manage fiber networks on assigned routes. The role involves extensive windshield time, field assessments, and proactive issue mitigation to protect line integrity.

You will plan daily routes, monitor conditions, review locate tickets, and communicate with clients and field teams. This position is outdoor, requires driving, and offers bonus potential with performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Own a reliable, well-maintained personal vehicle for field duties.
• Bring dependable, on-time performance and attention to detail.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication.
• Basic understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and follow daily routes; drive assigned fiber routes with significant windshield time.
• Monitor existing fiber routes and identify risks to the line.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to anticipate construction activity.
• Provide first-level problem-solving and mitigate issues before escalation.
• Log changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route and report findings.
• Coordinate with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners with professional communication.
