Job summary

Project Resources Group is seeking a route-based Construction Coordinator to be the eyes and ears on ground for fiber networks. You'll manage a daily route, drive extensively, monitor existing routes, and coordinate with clients and contractors in the field.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle with business insurance, and comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle with business-use insurance.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, prints.
• Strong communication with clients, homeowners, contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting.
• Solid understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals.
• Knowledge of underground utilities and dig laws is a plus.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan your route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route with extensive windshield time.
• Monitor existing fiber routes for potential risks.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to anticipate activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and mitigate failures.
• Log changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route.
• Report to the field to verify quality and adherence to SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
