Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to keep institutional facilities safe, functional, and appealing. You will travel between sites, perform repairs and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building systems, and respond to work orders with high service standards.

The role requires a HS diploma with trade certifications, at least 3 years in maintenance, a valid driver's license, CMMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant trade certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and ability to travel long distances.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems with HVAC knowledge as required by client scope.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with computerized work order systems (CMMS) and basic tablet/mobile devices.
• Strong commitment to meeting service level agreements, response times, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor plumbing repairs and leak resolution.
• Repair electrical switches, outlets, and lighting; maintain lighting systems.
• Carpentry tasks: doors, hardware, cabinets, patches.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues and thermostat adjustments.
• Process work orders in CMMS and meet SLAs.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate daily service routes to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain company vehicles and perform snow/ice removal as needed.
• Document maintenance activities and materials usage.
