Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Flam is building the next generation of content experiences—a powerful AI-native, app-less format. We are expanding Flam's presence in the U.S. market and seek a Field & Event Marketing Manager to own our events engine across the United States.
You will identify key events, own end-to-end orchestration, create demand around events, and turn these engagements into measurable pipeline, collaborating with the CEO, sales, and marketing teams.
Flam is building the next generation of content experiences — an AI-native, app-less interactive format that enables brands to create richer, more immersive consumer experiences. We are at an exciting stage of building Flam's presence in the U.S. market, and events will be one of our most important go-to-market engines.
We are looking for a Field & Event Marketing Manager who can build and own that engine, who knows the U.S. advertising, media, agency and marketing ecosystem, understands where the industry's most important people gather, and can turn those moments into relationships, conversations, brand awareness and pipeline for Flam.
Identify and maintain a comprehensive calendar of the most important advertising, media, marketing, AI and technology events across the U.S. and globally.
Evaluate events based on ICP relevance, audience quality, speaking opportunities, sponsorship value, networking potential and pipeline potential.
Build Flam's annual event participation strategy across conferences, trade shows, executive gatherings, dinners, roundtables and industry forums.
Develop a repeatable framework for deciding where Flam should attend, sponsor, speak, host or create its own presence.
Own the complete lifecycle of Flam's event participation — from research and registration to execution and post-event follow-up.
Manage event organizers, sponsors, vendors, partners and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate closely with the CEO, founders, sales and marketing teams around event objectives and schedules.
Identify speaking, panel, partnership and networking opportunities for Flam leadership.
Build pre-event campaigns that create anticipation and drive meetings.
Coordinate LinkedIn, email, founder and partner amplification.
Create event-specific campaigns such as "Meet Flam at Ad Week."
Identify high-value attendees and proactively create reasons for them to meet Flam.
Develop side events, dinners, roundtables and other high-touch experiences around strategic events.
Be the face of Flam at industry events.
Coordinate meetings, demos, networking and executive interactions.
Work with the content/social team to capture and amplify what is happening in real time.
Identify opportunities to generate conversations, content and social moments during events.
Build post-event lead and attendee workflows with Sales and Marketing.
Capture, organize and enrich attendee/prospect information.
Develop segmented email and nurture campaigns.
Ensure every meaningful event interaction has a defined follow-up motion.
Track meetings, opportunities, pipeline and revenue influenced by events.
Measure event ROI and continuously improve the event strategy.
5–10 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, experiential marketing or B2B marketing.
Experience in AdTech, MarTech, advertising, media, SaaS, AI or a closely related ecosystem strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of the U.S. advertising and marketing ecosystem.
Demonstrated experience owning industry events from strategy through execution.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong written communication and the ability to create compelling event messaging.
Comfortable working directly with founders, CEOs, senior executives and external partners.
Highly proactive — able to identify opportunities rather than simply execute instructions.
Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. and internationally for strategic events.
You naturally ask:
Who will be there?
Who do we need to meet?
How do we get them to meet us?
What can we create around this event?
And how do we turn those relationships into something bigger after the event?
You are equally comfortable negotiating with an event organizer, building a prospect list, coordinating with a CEO, writing an invitation, running an on-ground activation and reviewing pipeline numbers afterward.
This is a builder/operator role, not an event-coordination role.
Qualified meetings generated through events
Event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline
Speaking/partnership opportunities secured
Cost per qualified meeting
Post-event follow-up completion
