Job summary

UL Solutions is looking for a Field Evaluations Engineer based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This home-based position involves conducting on-site evaluations to determine product compliance with national and local codes. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and a minimum of eight years of related experience.

The role requires expert knowledge of Building Codes and regulatory standards, along with the ability to manage complex projects effectively. A competitive salary range of $97,000 to $120,000 is offered, along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree from an ABET accredited engineering program is preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of technical vocabulary in field evaluations.
• Expert knowledge of regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering evaluations to determine product compliance.
• Communicate with clients about technical issues and negotiate project details.
• Provide technical assistance and advise on product evaluations.

Skills

Expert knowledge of Building Codes

Knowledge of NEC and conformity Standards

Ability to apply project-handling concepts

Experience with Electrical Test Equipment

Understanding of industry issues

Eight years of related experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
