Job summary

Apex Water and Process Inc. seeks an Equipment Technician in San Antonio, TX and surrounding area to support the Field Team with equipment setup, calibration, and service visits.

You will install and service water treatment equipment, troubleshoot systems, document activities, and train customer teams while traveling up to 20%. The role requires a high school diploma, basic mechanical aptitude, valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with plumbing, maintenance, or general repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for overnight assignments.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist install, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment equipment.
• Learn chemical dosing and testing for start-up.
• Start up and operate equipment for customers; train their teams.
• Perform performance verification and service documentation.
• Use basic electrical knowledge to operate equipment.
• Travel to client locations for hands-on support and training.
• Record service activities and share recommendations.
