Job summary

Virginia Green seeks a hands-on Equipment Technician to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll repair small engines, perform preventative maintenance, and support regional branches while managing equipment, materials, and inventory.

This role involves lifting, driving, and adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic warehouse environment. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.
• 1–2 years of related experience or small engine repair preferred.
• Ability to obtain VDACS and forklift certifications within 30 days.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying conditions.
• Forklift and OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep operations running strong by repairing and maintaining equipment and small engines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and in-field repairs to support regional branches.
• Manage equipment and materials, offload deliveries, and maintain inventory.
• Transport equipment and vehicles for off-site repairs and keep a safe, organized facility.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols and maintain secure chemical storage.
