Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in the United States seeks a Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including Aerial Work Platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment. You will work safely to minimize downtime and gain hands-on experience across makes and models.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment, and basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Work with a diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas related equipment.
