Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on a range of equipment including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas gear. The role emphasizes safety, team collaboration, and career development in service or operations management.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years of technician experience on diesel/heavy equipment; some trade training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• May need to provide tools of the trade; strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and repair on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on diverse makes, models and equipment; develop skills toward service or operations management track.
• Operate in a safety-focused environment with a strong team.
• Base pay range: $22.85 - $31.41 per hour; benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and more.
