Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in the United States is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. The role focuses on safety, uptime, and working on equipment ranging from aerial platforms to pumps, HVAC and oil/gas gear.

You will build skills across makes/models and pursue a career track in service or operations management; 1–3 years of technician experience is preferred and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training preferred.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel/heavy equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment such as aerial work platforms and pumps.
• Operate in a safety-focused environment and adapt to changing priorities.
