Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC gear. You’ll work with a safety-focused team and gain hands-on experience across multiple equipment types.

Qualifying candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience; knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems is preferred. Bilingual abilities may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
