Job summary

CNC Oilfield Services is seeking an Equipment Operator - Rentals to actively support field operations by operating mixing plants, maintaining equipment and inventory, and ensuring the rental fleet is ready for action. The role offers independent work across multiple divisions with on-call responsibilities.

You will handle chemicals, operate heavy equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with teams at customer sites to keep operations moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Understanding of chemical applications and dosages.
• Knowledge of down-hole conditions and treatment processes.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Inventory management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to make sound decisions in safety-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing plants safely, efficiently, and independently.
• Mix and pour chemicals accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor and manage sweep viscosity and shipment processes.
• Prepare, rig up, and rig down pumps and pods for field use.
• Change pod socks and gaskets as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is ready for use at the start and end of each day.
• Wash tanks and equipment to company standards.
• Maintain equipment, chemical inventory, and rental assets.
• Operate forklifts and power washers safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and keep operations running smoothly.
• Manage chemical ordering and inventory levels.
