Job summary

National Oilwell Varco, L.P. is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee maintenance and restoration of rented equipment and lead a team of field operators and technicians. You will coordinate schedules, train staff, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include field checks, rig surveys, invoicing, and proactive communication with customers. Travel up to 75% is expected; strong English, problem-solving, and technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-5 years of experience in solids control equipment is essential.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to assign and review daily tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive.
• Understanding of electrical diagrams and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of VFD programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of field operators and technicians, ensuring adherence to NOV HSE policies and company guidelines.
• Create and manage work schedules for direct reports, optimizing productivity.
• Train employees on equipment servicing and troubleshooting techniques.
• Conduct field checks to monitor and evaluate job site performance.
• Perform rig surveys and inspections to guarantee proper equipment setup and safety.
• Maintain regular communication with customer representatives to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee the training and career development of operators and technicians.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and billing processes.
• Communicate upcoming work to shop personnel.
• Actively engage with customers to provide exceptional customer service.
