Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Equipment Specialist - Construction to support equipment operations across project sites. You will coordinate planning, ordering, tracking, forecasting, maintenance, and demobilization to optimize equipment utilization and cost control.

This field-based role requires travel and close collaboration with BV Fleet maintenance, estimating, and project teams. The ideal candidate has a solid background in equipment management, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, automotive/diesel or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant equipment management experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to work on-site in field environments with travel.

Responsibilities

• Source and order equipment and materials.
• Check equipment in/out and track usage.
• Maintain equipment tracking using Excel and management systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and demobilization planning.
• Prepare rental requisitions for owned and third-party equipment.
• Support SiteSense usage and compliance.
• Conduct periodic inspections and coordinate with vendors.
