Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Engineer to support the jobsite team and coordinate project deliverables to meet profitability and schedule goals. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment via training or experience.
• Demonstrated basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and perform Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
• Demonstrated basic understanding of a solar installation/plant.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of testing equipment.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Must obtain NFPA 70e Safety Training certification and stay current.

Responsibilities

• Stresses safety as the most important function and ensures safe practices are followed.
• Work safely under all circumstances and seek guidance when needed.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of solar equipment.
• Replace or repair solar parts/equipment under supervision.
• Respond on-call as directed to assist in emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
• Suggest improved processes and coordinate with EPC management on new tech implementations.
