Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an EPC Project Engineer for on-site work in Irrigon, Oregon. The role supports the jobsite team, coordinating deliverables to meet profitability and schedule goals.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, equipment service, testing, and documentation. Candidates should have mechanical/electrical background, basic testing skills, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
• Mechanical/electrical work experience from formal training or prior jobs.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Basic understanding of solar installation/plant operations.
• Basic testing equipment knowledge.
• Must obtain NFPA 70e Safety Training; keep current.

Responsibilities

• Stress safety as the top priority and ensure adherence to safe practices.
• Work safely and seek guidance for unfamiliar tasks to ensure safety.
• Operate and care for company property and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment.
• Replace or repair solar parts and equipment under supervision.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate work reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with EPC management on process improvements.
