Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an EPC Project Engineer to support the jobsite team in Irrigon, OR. This full-time on-site role focuses on coordinating deliverables to meet profitability and schedule goals while maintaining safety and quality across solar, storage, and substation projects.

The position requires mechanical/electrical knowledge, basic testing and troubleshooting skills, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; vocational/technical training is a plus.
Formal or on‑the‑job training in mechanical/electrical systems.
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Knowledge of solar installation/plant basics.
Familiarity with testing equipment and monitoring programs.
Basic computer operation skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
NFPA 70e Safety Training certification required; ongoing safety trainings.
Strong English communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety as the core value in all tasks and enforce safe work practices.
Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling on site.
Service solar equipment across multiple solar plants under supervision.
Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance with supervision.
Replace or repair solar parts and equipment under supervision.
Respond on-call for emergency repairs as directed by supervisor.
Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
Collaborate with EPC management to implement process improvements.
Foster diversity and inclusion within SOLV Energy culture.
