Job summary

Three Notch Group is seeking a Field Services Technician to travel to landfill sites across South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle to perform operation and maintenance on landfill gas wells and groundwater monitoring wells.

You will support safe, reliable site operations through routine maintenance, monitoring, documentation, and client communication, working independently while staying connected with project teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight on a regular basis.
• Basic familiarity with hand tools and field equipment.
• Ability to operate skid-steer equipment and other construction-related equipment preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and demanding field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Represent Three Notch Group professionally when interacting with clients, contractors, and the public.
• Maintain a professional appearance and foster positive working relationships with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Perform routine operation and maintenance activities on landfill gas wells and groundwater monitoring wells.
• Inspect wells and associated equipment, identify maintenance needs, and complete assigned repairs or adjustments within the scope of training and project procedures.
• Travel to numerous landfill sites throughout South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle to complete scheduled field assignments.
• Operate field tools, company vehicles, and other equipment required to support well operation, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
• Collect field data and observations accurately and document completed work in a clear, timely, and organized manner.
• Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements, project procedures, and applicable regulations at each location.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies in safe and proper working condition.
• Effectively communicate field activities, site conditions, maintenance needs, and project information to clients and project managers.
• Manage time effectively to complete assignments within project schedules and budgets.
• Participate in assigned training, certifications, and professional-development activities.
• Follow company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
