Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an Environmental Remediation Technician to join our New England offices. The role involves field-based remediation system installation, operation, maintenance, data collection, and time-sensitive response actions across commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.

Travel is extensive (New England region with nationwide opportunities). The candidate should have 5+ years of environmental consulting experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting, construction, or related industry.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field for extended periods.
• Ability to respond to short-notice project assignments and changing field schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform remediation system management, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, maintenance, and repair.
• Collect samples, field data, and documentation of soil, groundwater, and other media for site investigation and remediation projects.
• Support field investigations, and implement in situ and ex situ remediation technologies and monitoring programs.
• Conduct test pitting, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring well installation oversight, and related field activities.
• Monitor and inspect remediation and construction projects; supervise contractors and document activities.
• Provide environmental response action support during standard and non-standard hours and travel as needed.
• Operate construction equipment and related tooling for ongoing projects.
• Assist project staff with planning, scheduling, data compilation, and health and safety management.
