Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an Environmental Remediation Technician to join our New England team. The role involves field operations, sampling, and supporting remediation projects across industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.

Travel is extensive and you will work with engineers, geologists, and scientists to deliver timely environmental responses. The position requires 5+ years in environmental consulting or related fields, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental consulting, construction, or related industry.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Ability to work independently and in large multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness for extended fieldwork and travel within New England.

Responsibilities

• Perform remediation system management, operation, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Collect samples and field data for site investigation and remediation projects.
• Support field investigations and remediation technologies implementation.
• Oversee field activities including soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, surveys, and inspections.
• Assist with regulatory submittals, work plans, and technical reports.
• Provide on-site environmental response support and supervision of contractors.
• Operate construction equipment and support ongoing remediation/construction projects.
• Coordinate project planning, scheduling, subcontractors, and safety management.
