Job summary

Perpetua Resources is seeking an Environmental Superintendent to partner with the Environmental Manager and lead compliance across Stibnite, Cascade, and Scott Valley projects. This role acts as the onsite subject matter expert for environmental permits, ensuring regulatory alignment and company standards.

You will supervise environmental staff, coordinate with regulators and contractors, and drive environmental stewardship while supporting safe project execution and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, Geology, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of environmental compliance experience in mining/industrial settings.
• Experience interpreting and implementing environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating with federal, state, and local regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of environmental permits, permit conditions, and management plans across project sites.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs (SWPPP, BMPs, SPCC, groundwater, air quality, waste).
• Translate permits into field controls; ensure contractor and employee compliance.
• Represent the company with regulators, agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain environmental records, permit tracking, and reporting; support budgets.
