Job summary

Perpetua Resources Idaho, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Superintendent to lead the site safety strategy at the Stibnite Mine area in Idaho.

This role partners with operations leaders, supervisors, employees, and contractors to drive a culture of safety excellence and regulatory compliance. The candidate will manage risk, incident investigations, health programs, emergency preparedness, and contractor safety across mining activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CRSP, CIH, CMSP, CHST or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive health and safety experience in mining/related industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety strategy and culture across site operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
• Oversee risk management processes for mining, equipment, and high-risk activities.
• Lead investigations of incidents, ensuring root causes and corrective actions.
• Manage occupational health programs and industrial hygiene initiatives.
• Develop safety training and competency assessments for staff and contractors.
• Coordinate emergency planning and response with stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor safety management and performance.
