Job summary

Perpetua Resources Corp. is seeking an experienced environmental professional to support the Stibnite Mine project, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permits.

The Senior Environmental Scientist will guide environmental programs, coordinate with technicians and construction teams, and lead audits to maintain regulatory compliance. The role offers flexibility to work at Donnelly, Stibnite or other Perpetua locations, with a nonstandard 8-on/6-off

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental field and 7+ years in heavy construction/mining environmental programs.
• Ability to plan, assign and supervise work groups.
• Knowledge of federal, state environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Experience with systems/databases to manage regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, licenses and regulations.
• Coordinate permitting activities and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead audits and inspections of operations to ensure EMS compliance.
• Provide environmental training and guidance to site personnel.
• Manage environmental projects and supplier/contractor activities.
