Job summary

Perpetua Resources seeks an Environmental Scientist II/III at its Stibnite project site. You will lead SPCC and stormwater programs, coordinate with multifaceted teams, and ensure regulatory reporting and BMP compliance across construction phases.

The role requires a BS in environmental fields and 3+ years in mining/stormwater, with strong communication and documentation skills. Remote camp work with 8 on/6 off schedule and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Environmental Management, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in heavy construction/mining stormwater programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Stibnite Gold Project MSG permit and CGPs with Idaho DEQ, overseeing SWPPP compliance.
• Manages SPCC plan inspections in coordination with Perpetua owners team and partners.
• Updates SPCC plans with multidisciplinary teams; inspects erosion and sediment controls.
• Maintains documentation for regulatory reporting; ensures BMPs are met.
• Mentor and lead less experienced engineers/technicians; may serve as PM or technical expert on projects.
