Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
• Advanced training relevant to engineering or engineering technology.
• Associate’s degree in design or engineering technology preferred.
• Two years of CADD experience in engineering or mapping projects.
• One year of related work in public utility or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide research from engineering units and outside agencies for drafting drawings.
• Review, create and modify complex CADD drawings, maps and graphs for GIS input.
• Search references and compile information for development of drawings.
• Conduct inspections and assist with contract management.
• Assist management with engineering reports and correspondence.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain detailed records.
• Possess a valid Michigan driver's license for field/work site duties.
