Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking an Engineering Specialist to service and support existing customers, respond to calls, and contribute to small projects. This role is part of a dynamic team with growth opportunities within Convergint’s values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 3–5 years in technical, IT, or low-voltage projects.
• Strong customer focus with ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans, functional specs and contracts to determine technical project requirements; manage estimating, designing, tracking, startup and planning phases.
• Provide input and may prepare shop drawings and wiring diagrams based on project plans and specifications.
• Provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation.
• May install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
