Job summary

Chandler Engineering, a unit of AMETEK Energy & Process Instrumentation, seeks a Field Engineering Specialist to install, startup, commission, decommission, repair and train customers on our well integrity instruments. You will provide technical support and prepare aftermarket quotations, reporting insights from the field.

The role requires 5+ years in a technical field, an associate degree in electronics, HPHT equipment experience, and travel 75–90% with potential international trips;

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical field or service engineering.
• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent with strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience working on High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Chandler Engineering products remotely and on-site.
• Quote instrument retrofits and repair costs; assist with calibration/troubleshooting.
• Conduct product training sessions and participate in seminars/tradeshows.
• Coordinate service trip logistics and complete service documentation/expenses.
• Use CRM tools for service appointments, asset tracking, and customer interactions.
• Travel 75–90% domestically and internationally; weekend stays may be required.
