Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to support Donor Screening products with on-site service and repair in the Daytona Beach area. The role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing preventive maintenance, and serving as the primary technical contact for laboratory customers.

The ideal candidate has strong electronics knowledge, 5 years of repair experience or a related degree, and the ability to travel up to 20% within East and Southeast Florida.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of technical training or equivalent military Training.
• 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and repair of Roche products in assigned territory.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system failures; document activities for quality improvement.
• Serve as a customer contact for technical issues; maintain strong customer relationships.
• Perform preventative maintenance and support after hours as needed.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
