Job summary

ProPetro is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead frontline technical and operational efforts for hydraulic fracturing fleets. You will guide pre-job planning, execution, and post-job reviews, while supervising engineers and ensuring safety and performance standards.

You will build proposals, validate procedures, and coordinate with customers and leadership to manage risks and drive efficient operations. Willingness to travel and work extended shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related STEM.
• Prior hydraulic fracturing engineering experience required.
• Lead engineering or remote operations experience preferred.
• Ability to build technically accurate proposals and practical pad layouts.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational leadership for assigned fleets from pre-job planning through execution and post-job review.
• Supervise engineering personnel and reinforce workflow, reporting, and standards.
• Maintain awareness of job status, risks, and fleet readiness.
• Conduct field visits to verify readiness and alignment with plans.
• Build job proposals after pricing approval through internal approval processes.
• Validate procedures and confirm readiness of well data, schedules, and equipment.
• Identify planning gaps and escalation needs to prevent issues.
• Coordinate pad layouts with field teams and customers to support move-in.
• Align remote operations and field teams on objectives and priorities.
• Communicate with customers and leadership to resolve issues.
• Present bi-weekly KPI reviews highlighting performance and gaps.
• Provide guidance on treatment behavior and equipment performance.
• Coach and onboard engineers on workflows and standards.
• Provide feedback on readiness for advancement and development needs.
• Identify unsafe practices and maintain HSE compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
