Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. is seeking a Fluid Technician to manage chemicals used during hydraulic fracturing on location.

You will monitor safe transport, deliver chemicals to and from the job site, and maintain inventory for each project while communicating changes to vendors and clients. The role requires familiarity with fracturing equipment, ability to perform pH analyses, and strong data recording with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Fluid Technician or Field Lab Technician experience, required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, required.
• Familiar with hydraulic fracturing equipment (blender, hydration, C 10, etc.).
• Ability to perform pH water analysis and test acid titration for pumping.
• Familiar with API standards and sand sieve analysis.
• Able to use Microsoft Office 365 and related software.

Responsibilities

• Assign chemical rates to pumps per job proposal.
• Communicate chemical adjustment recommendations to clients.
• Perform pre-job testing and generate pre-job reports.
• Collect chemical straps after each stage for records.
• Assist equipment operators to ensure efficient HF performance.
• Maintain chemical inventory for each job and coordinate with vendors.
