Job summary

Eversource Energy in Springfield, MA, seeks a Distribution Design Engineer to plan, coordinate, and monitor complex distribution projects from concept through construction readiness. You will work with internal teams, external vendors, and permitting authorities to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable field plus five years of related experience, or eight years of equivalent experience/education.
• Electrical license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, plans, and coordinates overhead and underground distribution projects, including line relocations and asset replacements.
• Coordinates with engineering, operations, vendors, and permitting authorities across concept to construction readiness.
• Manages budgets, schedules, and performance while guiding design teams in safe, compliant solutions.
