Job summary

You will assist the Project Superintendent and Craft Foreman with field tasks, surveying, layout, and coordination. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, with strong written and verbal communication skills and hands-on field experience in layout and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman with structure layout
• Field purchase orders
• Engineering duties as assigned for assistance in planning construction
• Maintain and update project logs and schedules
• Identify need for RFIs
• Prepare, review and process shop drawings
• Maintain as-built drawings
• Collect and assemble O&M material
• Perform subcontract scope analysis
• Assist with purchasing and expediting
• Document distribution
• Meeting minutes and distribution
