Job summary
Carrier’s Automated Logic division seeks a Field Engineer to own turn-key project delivery, including install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems. You will mentor junior technicians and serve as a trusted advisor to customers, while partnering with project managers to manage risk and ensure high-quality outcomes.
The role requires travel, strong knowledge of ALC products, and adherence to ASHRAE guidelines, with a focus on safe, high-performance systems and thorough documentation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 2+ years in Building Automation or HVAC.
- Valid Driver’s License and insurability.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Able to work over 8 feet and use ladders or motorized lifts.
Responsibilities
- Turn-Key Delivery: own install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems with full software solutions.
- Technical Leadership: mentor junior techs and be a trusted advisor to customers.
- Risk & Coordination: partner with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure clear communication.
- Travel & Flexibility: travel as needed and adapt to shifting project priorities.
- Proficiency & Growth: apply deep knowledge of ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
- Project Integrity: maintain documentation and commissioning logs for safe delivery.
