Job summary

ABSC in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a Mid Level Engineer to support DoD, IC, and federal projects. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, strong engineering fundamentals, and collaboration with security specialists to decompose requirements and protect critical information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an engineering role.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering concepts, including requirements analysis, software architecture, test methods, and functional decomposition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside security specialists to provide engineering and technical insights and functional decompositions of the Army's most sensitive technologies.
• Providing support to Government Program Managers and Senior Engineers to influence proper identification of CPI, CC, CUI, and CTI.
• Providing recommendations to Government Security Officers (SSO) and delivering findings to support the Government in its development of effective Program Protection Plans.
• Ensuring Program Protection Plans (PPP) are satisfactorily implemented at Government as well as defense contractor facilities where CPI resides.
