Job summary

LVI Associates, a leading restoration and forensic engineering firm, seeks a Structural Engineer with concrete restoration, repair, or forensic investigation experience. The role blends fieldwork, analysis, and client interaction across New England.

The engineer will conduct site investigations, prepare inspection reports, design repairs, review drawings, and collaborate with clients and teams. A PE is preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in structural restoration, concrete repair, or forensic engineering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and related engineering software.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform site investigations and condition assessments of existing structures.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and technical recommendations.
• Design and engineer structural repair solutions for various structures.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, specs and construction documents.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical mentoring and stay current with industry developments.
