Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Forensics and Facility Performance team, focusing on existing buildings and restoration solutions.

You will investigate conditions, assess facilities, and develop practical repair strategies, while leading projects and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of structural consulting, a PE license, and strong report-writing skills, with expertise in steel, concrete, wood, and masonry systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering/building design consulting experience.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with existing buildings and structural systems.
• Strong analytical and report writing skills.
• Experience with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic structural investigations and existing building evaluations.
• Conduct facility condition assessments and site investigations.
• Evaluate structural failures, deterioration, damage, and complex conditions.
• Develop repair, rehabilitation, and restoration solutions.
• Lead projects from initial investigation through design and implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and recommendations.
• Work with owners, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
