Job summary

Kiewit in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to support field operations across transportation and water resources projects. You will interpret drawings, assist in planning, scheduling, and safety, and collaborate with teams to deliver quality work on time.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, are willing to travel/relocate, and demonstrate strong work ethic, safety mindset, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as business requires.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and site measures to support field operations.
• Assist in preparing work plans, job hazard analyses, and safety reviews.
• Support field surveying, data collection, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate material deliveries and assist with scheduling on-site activities.
• Contribute to cost reporting, change orders, and subcontractor oversight.
