Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Eunice, Louisiana is seeking a Field Engineer to join a team delivering renewable energy projects. You will gain hands-on experience in construction, engineering, project management, and related disciplines on active sites.

The role involves travel to project locations across several states; per-diem is provided. Expected candidates hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• 0 to 12 months of field engineer/coordinator experience preferred; internships count.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead inspections, ensure health and safety practices.
• Coordinate with superintendent on workforce planning.
• Manage document control and support RFIs, shop drawings and change orders.
• Supervise self-perform scopes and track labor and costs.
• Mentor field engineers and students/interns.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and site reviews.
• Develop and implement quality plans and IT plans.
• Build positive relationships with partners.
