Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Camden, Ohio is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in construction, engineering, project management, and solar-specific work, collaborating with industry leaders on cutting‑edge renewable energy projects.

We value growth, safety and mentorship, with opportunities to move across projects and states. Travel is required to support various sites, including potential assignments outside Ohio.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field: construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 12 months of varied field engineer/coordinator experience preferred; internships count.
• Knowledge of construction specs, methods and procedures (formwork, self-perform, subcontracted work, temporary works, scheduling).
• Able to apply construction principles to solve problems and communicate clearly with teams.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead inspections and orientations; emphasize health and safety practices.
• Coordinate with superintendent on workforce planning.
• Support document control and lead trade contractors on RFIs, shop drawings, changes, billings.
• Assist in supervising self-perform scopes and labor tracking.
