Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Engineer to support solar and energy storage project construction at multiple site locations across the United States. The role is entry‑level and site‑based with relocation to the project site for the length of the project.

You will work closely with Project Engineers and Managers, assisting Superintendents and the project team to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of scope while coordinating RFIs, submittals, and supplier progress.

Qualifications

Recent grad or working toward a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Construction Science, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field with a June 2027 graduation date preferred.
Internship experience in construction, engineering, renewable energy is strongly preferred.
Basic knowledge of project management phases, safety, and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects of solar projects for an assigned scope, from notice to proceed through final acceptance.
Partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, and communication.
Coordinate activities for project execution under supervision.
Support project administration to ensure design, budget, and schedule alignment.
Coordinate progress with suppliers and subcontractors; support RFIs and submittals.
